Additional Information about writers:
Toronto Sun on July 25, 2006: “‘former Kids In The Hall player Mark McKinney‘ was hired primarily as a writer. ‘He’s just too good at sketch comedy.’ Sorkin says McKinney’s input won’t be limited to writing credible sketches. ‘He’s got honest to God story ideas.’” And he might also “appear on camera…. ‘playing one of the cast members of the show within a show,’ said Sorkin….”

Entertainment Weekly: “Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip”: “The scarily prolific Sorkin writes all of the scripts himself, after brainstorming with his writing staff. (He hired Mark McKinney, a veteran of The Kids in the Hall and SNL, to help him nail the sketch writing.)”
